About Larry Reynolds
I've worked as a leadership facilitator for over 20 years. I love facilitating events which are purposeful, fun, and relevant. I strive to bring about positive lasting changes in people and their organisations. In return I meet some inspiring people, learn loads, and earn all the money I need.
My mum and dad taught me the value of learning and education, and I've been a bit of learning nut ever since. As well as the formal stuff – I've an MA from Cambridge, a PGCE from Nottingham, an MBA from Bradford and an NLP Master Practitioner qualification - I read like crazy and attend lots of conferences and training events. I've also written a few books, including Beyond Total Quality Management, The Trust Effect and The Trainer's Toolkit, as well as numerous resource packs, video guides, journal articles and training materials. Writing is a great way to learn.
I consider myself extremely fortunate. I have a job where I can make a serious and significant contribution to the world of work, and still spend lots of time doing the other things in life that give me pleasure – running, sailing, skiing, cooking great family meals and attempting to be a great dad. My wife Monica and my children Sorcha and Róisín give me a greater sense of fulfilment than I can possibly say.
Organisations dominate our lives in the 21st century, whether we interact with them as employees or customers. Most organisations could do a much job of being purposeful, sustainable, and a great place to work. That's why I do what I do.
